Filtration camp No. 0316

Filtration camp No. 0316 was a Soviet-occupation control-and-filtration camp in northern Estonia near Paldiski, at Põllküla.

Filtration

The camp had subdivisions in Paldiski, Põllküla and later Maardu. Filtration camps screened and vetted people the occupation authorities suspected — those returning from the war and others — some of whom were then sent on to the Gulag.
