1. Overview

Eesti tatarlased (the “platform”) is a community, non-commercial environment for language and cultural heritage. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

2. Content and accuracy

Articles rest on cited sources. Unconfirmed language forms are marked separately — they must not be treated as established fact. The content is educational and informational; it is not official, legal or professional advice. Corrections and clarifications are welcome.

3. Copyright and licences

The platform's texts belong to the community and their authors. Photographs and illustrations are used according to their licence (public domain, Creative Commons, etc.) and are credited; please respect each image's author and licence. Automated harvesting (scraping) and commercial reuse without permission are not allowed. Non-commercial sharing with attribution is allowed.

4. User contributions

If you send us words, corrections, texts or images, you confirm that you have the right to share them and grant the platform permission to publish them for the good of the community. A native speaker's corrections are authoritative and may overwrite earlier content.

5. Members' area and privacy

The dictionary and library are for members (with sign-in). We handle personal and genealogical data carefully. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

6. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts toward accuracy but do not guarantee that all content is error-free or up to date. The platform is not liable for any harm arising from the use of the content.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and the platform's content from time to time.
