The Maardu POW camp was a Soviet prisoner-of-war camp near Tallinn, at Maardu.

Forced labour

Prisoners did forced labour on excavations for the Maardu chemical (phosphorite) plant, on the Petersburg road and on construction in Tallinn. A POW cemetery along the Petersburg road holds about 300–350 of the dead. See also Soviet POW camps in Estonia. Sources: Soviet POW camps in Estonia (Wikipedia).
